Grades K-4 COMBINED SONGS

Students in Grades K-4 will be following the Fun Music Curriculum.  This curriculum aligns with the National Standards for Music Education. 

They study 4 components:

Skill Development = The students learn about elements of music such as rhythm, dynamics, tempo and timbre. They will have fun and learn through exposure.

Sing and Play =   Students will sing, play untuned and tuned percussion as they put together ensembles.

Compose = At an age appropriate level, students will learn to create their own music! Students will discover the elements of music through singing and playing their own creations. They will work in groups and alone as they create their own music and perform it.

Connect = Students will listen to everything from Mozart to Elvis! They will also discover how music CONNECTS with them and their world.
